Junior Interior Designer

A highly respected, design driven architecture and interiors studio in New York is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join its collaborative team. The studio is known for producing thoughtful, contemporary multifamily residential, luxury hospitality and mixed use projects, with architecture and interiors developed together from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Support senior designers and project leads across multifamily residential and mixed use interior projects
- Assist with developing design concepts, material palettes and interior layouts
- Produce and assist with Revit drawings, including plans, elevations and details
- Assist with selecting materials, finishes, furniture and fixtures
- Support the development of presentations and project documentation
- Assist with custom millwork and interior architectural detailing
- Coordinate with the wider design team, architects, consultants and vendors
- Participate in design reviews and contribute creative ideas to projects
- Support projects through different stages of design and documentation
What They Are Looking For
- 1–3+ years of professional experience within an architecture or interior design studio
- Experience across residential, multifamily or hospitality projects is preferred
- Good working knowledge of Revit, with a willingness to continue developing technically
- Strong design sensibility and an interest in interior architecture, materials and detailing
- A well presented portfolio demonstrating both creative and technical ability
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn within a collaborative studio environment
