Associate Interior Designer | City Centre, Dublin | Hybrid

Rhythm Careers is working with an ambitious, early stage interior and architecture practice based in Dublin's city centre, to appoint an Associate Interior Designer.

Our client is small by design, but they are already gaining significant recognition and have secured a strong pipeline of work. Backed by experienced leadership and a wider professional network, the studio has launched with genuine momentum and is building something deliberately different within the Irish design landscape. Current and upcoming projects include deep retrofits and new headquarter fit outs for multiple clients, as well as Time Out food market developments, among others.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate level designer who wants real influence over how a growing practice operates, rather than simply executing within an established structure.

The successful candidate will join a studio where commercial office, workplace and fit out work forms the bulk of the workload, so relevant experience in this area is essential. Excellent Revit skills are required, and the ideal candidate will be equally comfortable moving between design development and technical documentation, rather than being confined to one side of that process.

FF&E specification is a genuine part of this role, and the successful candidate will have considerably more influence over specification decisions than is typical at most practices. Our client is therefore looking for someone with informed opinions on specification, and the confidence to advocate for them.

Candidates should already be using AI to augment their design or documentation workflow, as our client is actively building the practice around these tools rather than waiting to see how the industry settles. Experience working with existing and historic building fabric is also important, since approximately a quarter of the studio's work involves buildings that present genuine technical and design challenges.
