Architect – Major Commercial Fit-Out, Dublin (Stage 5)
We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading architecture practices, a Stirling Prize winning studio with over 400 staff across the UK and US and a growing international reputation. The practice is known for highly acclaimed work across the commercial, residential and education sectors.
Our client is seeking a qualified Architect to join the delivery team on a 325,000 sq ft commercial fit-out in Dublin, currently the most significant fit-out project underway in the city. The scheme includes a number of specialist food, events, fitness and amenity spaces, delivered for a long-standing technology sector client.
This position covers Stage 5 (construction) activities, commencing September 2026. The role will involve site visits and inspections, contractor liaison, subcontractor submittal review, responding to site queries, and a range of wider construction stage duties. The successful candidate will be supported by a project team based in London, who travel to Dublin regularly, as well as an embedded local subconsultant providing additional on the ground support. The role is primarily site office based, although a co-working space could be considered if required.
The project is due to reach practical completion in mid to late 2027. There is also an allowance for Stage 6 snagging and post-completion duties, likely extending to the end of 2027.
This is a fixed term contract of 16 months, running from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2027. The interview process will consist of a single stage.
Essential criteria include qualification as an Architect with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, along with RIBA Stage 5 experience on Irish projects. Desirable criteria include commercial fit-out experience and experience working on existing or occupied buildings.
