Rhythm Careers is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic architecture and Interior Design studio known for delivering technically excellent, high-performing buildings. They're looking for an Architectural Technologist to join their team and turn design ambition into buildable reality.
You'll take design concepts and shape them into robust technical solutions, working closely with a Senior Architect or Associate to develop drawings, resolve detailing challenges and keep projects moving smoothly from concept through to completion. Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods and building regulations is essential, alongside confident use of Revit, BIM 360 and AutoCAD. You'll coordinate closely with the wider design team and consultants, mentor junior colleagues, and take ownership of your deliverables, flagging issues early and keeping your manager in the loop.
This role suits someone with around 3-5 years' post-qualified experience who has worked across multiple project stages and built a solid, growing understanding of regulatory compliance. You'll be comfortable balancing technical precision with practical, buildable thinking, and confident representing the practice in front of clients, contractors and industry contacts. Candidates with experience working on large and complex projects are encouraged to apply!
Day to day, you'll produce technically sound drawings, specifications and schedules, contribute to conceptual and presentation work under senior guidance, and help embed best practice across the studio. Site visits, including occasional overseas travel, form part of the role, along with close liaison with Project Managers and Contract Administrators.
In return, you'll be working with a studio who offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package – get in touch for a confidential chat to discuss the studio and vacancy in more detail! Beth@rhythmcareers.com
