Are you an experienced Interior Designer with strong project
management skills looking to join a highly creative, art led design studio?
Our client is an established luxury residential design and decorating
studio based in the heart of Manhattan, just moments from the New York
Design Center.
Renowned for creating beautifully curated homes, the
studio also works on galleries, artist collaborations, bespoke furniture
and unique decorative projects for private clients.
This is an opportunity to join a close knit, collaborative team where
creativity, initiative and personality are genuinely valued. The studio has
an excellent reputation for staff retention, with many employees staying
for several years.
The Role:
As a Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager, you will oversee luxury
residential projects from concept through to installation, ensuring they
are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest design standards.
Working alongside architects, who produce the technical drawing
packages, you will focus on the creative vision, client relationships and
overall project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing multiple high end residential projects simultaneously
Leading client meetings and presentations
Developing design concepts and aesthetic direction
Creating furniture plans and space planning
Selecting finishes, materials, furnishings and bespoke pieces
Producing presentations, visuals and assisting with in house
renders
Managing project budgets, schedules and timelines
Coordinating with architects, consultants, suppliers and
contractors
Overseeing projects through procurement, installation and final
styling
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and be
confident managing luxury residential projects from concept through to
completion.
You will have:
At least 5 years' experience within luxury residential interiors
Proven experience managing project budgets and schedules
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong client facing and presentation skills
A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team
Confidence to contribute ideas and communicate effectively
A genuine passion for exceptional design and attention to detail
